“Open When... ” Envelopes
This is an especially great gift for someone about to go on a trip or for a long-distance relationship. This takes a little bit of time to put together, but the end result is an incredibly thoughtful and unique gift. Write a series of letters with personalized stationery and enclose them in different envelopes, and pop them all in a cute gift box.
On each one of the envelopes, write a little phrase such as “open when you miss me” or “open when you’re feeling blue.” In each envelope, include a sweet letter that fits the theme.
Best Friend Mugs
Instead of making a friendship bracelet (although that’s a sweet idea, too!), make your bestie a friendship mug (or wine glass) for their special day. You could get two plain white ceramic mugs and paint half of a heart on each mug, so when they’re put next to each other, it makes one big heart. (cute, right?) In the extra white space, you can paint different inside jokes or mention memories that you’ve had together. Get creative -- the mug is your canvas!

Make your pals birthday extra special with a thoughtful homemade bar of high-quality lavender soap that you make just for them! Follow these simple steps below:

- Allow the soap to slowly -- not quickly -- melt into a liquid state.
- Remove it from the heat and add your lavender oil. If you want to add a dash of color, you may add that as well at this point.
- Stir and pour into the mold.
- Allow the soap mold to sit for about an hour to harden.
- Remove from the mold, and voila, you just made lavender soap!
